Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to oversee and operate computer-controlled machining equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for programming and running CNC machines to produce precision parts for a manufacturing environment. Work may include milling, drilling, and lathe machining.
Responsibilities:
- Program CNC machines using G & M code and conversational programming
- Set up and operate machines to produce parts to specification
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Monitor machine performance and ensure quality standards are met
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed
Qualifications:
- CNC machining certificate or equivalent manufacturing experience
- Proven experience as a CNC programmer and operator
- Strong understanding of machining processes (milling, drilling, lathe)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Proficiency with measurement tools and quality control processes
