Duties
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as plating, garnishing, or portioning ingredients under the guidance of chefs or kitchen staff
- Clear tables promptly and reset dining areas to prepare for new guests, ensuring a clean and inviting environment
- Support catering events or banquet setups by transporting dishes, setting up service stations, or assisting with food presentation
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, workstations, and dining areas through regular cleaning routines
- Handle food items safely by following proper food handling procedures in compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and special events
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Knowledge of basic food handling safety standards and cleaning protocols
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or bending comfortably
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in a fast-paced setting
- Experience with banquet service, catering support, or kitchen operations is a plus but not mandatory
- Familiarity with food preparation or culinary activities can enhance your contribution to the team
