Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the retail sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Oversee daily store operations including cash handling, POS system management, and cashiering duties.
• Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize sales opportunities.
• Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team performance and product knowledge.
• Handle recruiting efforts by interviewing candidates, participating in hiring decisions, and onboarding new staff members.
• Supervise shift management, scheduling, and ensure adherence to operational policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and administrative records to support store efficiency.
• Utilize management skills to oversee purchasing decisions, inventory management systems (POS), and store merchandising plans.
• Foster effective communication within the team through managerial communication practices and organizational skills.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and customer service protocols across all store functions.

Experience

• Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervisory responsibilities.
• Demonstrated success in retail sales management including team supervision, sales strategies, and operational oversight.
• Strong background in inventory management, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and cash handling.
• Experience with POS systems, purchasing processes, pricing strategies, and stock control techniques.
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
• Prior experience in employee training & development as well as recruiting new talent is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with retail math calculations such as basic math for pricing adjustments and sales analysis.
• Knowledge of retail industry standards including customer service excellence, merchandising practices, and operational management.

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
