Job Title: Room Checker
Job Summary:
—The Room Checker is responsible for inspecting hotel guest rooms to ensure they meet cleanliness, safety, and quality standards before guests arrive.
—The role involves coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any issues found during inspections.
—Part time position, Friday-Monday 8am-3pm
Key Responsibilities:
—Inspect guest rooms thoroughly to ensure they are clean, well-maintained, and fully stocked with necessary amenities.
—Verify that all furniture, appliances, and fixtures are in proper working order.
—Report any damages, maintenance issues, or missing items to the appropriate department promptly.
—Ensure that rooms meet hotel standards for guest comfort and safety.
—Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to follow up on repairs or additional cleaning needs.
—Confirm readiness of rooms prior to guest check-in times.
—Maintain accurate records of inspections and reported issues.
—Respond to guest requests related to room issues during their stay, escalating when necessary.
Qualifications:
—Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, maintenance, or quality control preferred.
—Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
—Good communication and teamwork abilities.
