SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for Sewing Machine Operators for an apparel company in Wheeling, IL. As a Sewing Machine Operator, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, switching between tasks quickly when needed, and operating sewing machines.SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All direct hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($19/HR) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include: 7:00am-3:30pm.Responsibilities of the Sewing Operator:-Complete given orders efficiently and cleanly during daily shifts-Follow specified company policies and processes as directed-Meet or exceed given quotas for the day-Re-threading machine, replacing needles, and winding bobbins-Perform general machine maintenance such as cleaning and small repairsRequired Qualifications of the Sewing Operator:-Previous sewing machine experience is desired (at least 1 year)-Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail-Ability to sit or stand for long hours throughout shift depending on the given task-Excellent communication skills.
