Assembly Tech

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Assembly Technicians for a large, well-known client in Carol Stream, IL . As an Assembly Technician, you will be an essential part of our client’s core operations, ensuring that quality product is produced, assembled, packaged, and ready for delivery to the end customer. 

SURESTAFF is invested in their team members!  All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $19-$20/HR as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).  

Available shifts include : 

1st : 6:30am - 3:00pm M-F 

Responsibilities of the Assembly Technician:

• Follow and understand all Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and procedures related to manufacturing of quality products.
• Comply with quality procedures including calibrated tools, preventative maintenance tools, perishable materials and handling of defective materials.
• Accurately torque as required per specification using properly calibrated tools.
• Accurately record meter readings including voltage to ensure compliance with standards.
• Produce work safely and efficiently while meeting all quality standards
• Produce assemblies within standard lead time per workbench and clocking’s.
• Visual inspection of material before and after assembly, including video and photos.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area per housekeeping standards, including tool carts.

Required Qualifications of the Assembly Technician: 

• Knowledge of hand tools, multi-meters, and power tools.
• Knowledge of basic safety rules.

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Professional attitude and demeanor.
• Respond willingly to changes in assignments.
• Understand in detail how your work meets customer needs.
