We are looking for a competent entry level office assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, professional, and able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and be comfortable making outgoing calls for both scheduling and sales opportunities. This is a part time position from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls
- Sort and distribute emails and phone messages in a timely manner
- Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
- Schedule appointments with customers
- Make follow up sales calls on completed estimates (no cold calling)
- Perform receptionist duties when needed
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
Qualifications
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Prior office and clerical experience
- Effective communication skills and phone etiquette
- Customer service experience with a focus on support and satisfaction
- Familiarity with data entry and filing systems
- Experience with QuickBooks and multi-line phone systems is a plus
Schedule
Monday to Friday with an Occasional Saturday
