We are looking for a competent entry level office assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, professional, and able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and be comfortable making outgoing calls for both scheduling and sales opportunities. This is a part time position from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls
  • Sort and distribute emails and phone messages in a timely manner
  • Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
  • Schedule appointments with customers
  • Make follow up sales calls on completed estimates (no cold calling)
  • Perform receptionist duties when needed

Skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office

Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Prior office and clerical experience
  • Effective communication skills and phone etiquette
  • Customer service experience with a focus on support and satisfaction
  • Familiarity with data entry and filing systems
  • Experience with QuickBooks and multi-line phone systems is a plus

Schedule

Monday to Friday with an Occasional Saturday

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
