Role and responsibilities: (i) prepare cost estimation (including verifying subcontractors’, vendors’, specialists’ submissions), endorse and ensure timely submission to the Authority for approval; (ii) prepare financial projection and carry out budgetary and expenditure control of works; (iii) prepare Contractors’ monthly payment claims and final account for the Contract and ensure timely and complete submissions to the Authority for payment, including all supporting documents and evidence verified; (iv) evaluate and carry out site measurements where necessary, with claims for work orders; (v) to be well versed with existing contracts and its contractual terms and clauses; (vi) review and prepare tender specifications, evaluate, and recommend tender submissions and carry out contract documentation where required by the Authority; (vii) evaluate and verify that “star rate items” before the start of works are reasonable and in accordance with fair market prices for the Authority’s acceptance; (viii) collate all star rates and quotation rates, analyse and review them for future procurement; (ix) all other roles and responsibilities usually performed by a senior contract specialist / contract specialist for buildings and premises similar to the Premises in Singapore; Location: Station at MOH At Surbana Jurong, we put talent, hard work, teamwork and a fun workplace together to approach problems and solve them creatively and collaboratively.
