A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SERVICE DISPATCHER
As a Service Dispatcher, you arrive at the office each day ready to work hard to ensure maximum scheduling efficiency without compromising customer service. You effectively determine our customers' needs and assign our HVAC or plumbing technicians to the jobs based on skill and availability. Additionally, you ensure that our service experts meet revenue goals. After our technicians provide services to a home, you review invoices and engage in a follow-up call with the customer. You leave work each day knowing you played a vital role in helping our community receive essential services.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SERVICE DISPATCHER
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge about computers
- Ability to participate in the on-call rotation
- Customer service skills
Prior dispatch experience is preferred but not required, as well as previous experience in the HVAC or plumbing industry. Are you a strong communicator?
