We provide in-house training in our state-of-the-art facility in Plainview, New York.

CNC Operator Trainee Position Summary:
Learn to complete manual machine tasks and run CNC machines.
CNC Operator Trainee Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
· Loading and unloading of materials into various machines.
· General good housekeeping practices within work area.
· Review work center for maintenance compliance.
· Maintain correct time reporting and accurate entries on applicable manufacturing documentation.
· Comply with company quality and safety requirements
CNC Operator Trainee Necessary Education, Skills, and Competencies (including licensing and certifications):
- High School Diploma, GED or higher education
- Trade school certification a plus
- Machine shop experience using various equipment.
- Blueprint reading
- Experience using measuring tools.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Ability to pay attention to a single task for long periods of time.
- Ability to communicate and understand verbal and written instructions (English)
- Manual machining experience a plus

Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced deadline orientated environment.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Employee is advised to always wear safety glasses and non slip shoes while out on production floor(suggested).
