General Job Description:
Oversee the ordering, storage, pricing, and distribution of replacement parts and accessories for business
Requirements:
- Must understand and follow company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Personnel Practices.
- Must understand and explain the use and requirements of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be able to explain the purpose of MSDS on chemicals used in the facility.
- Must understand proper use and storage of chemicals.
- Must be Forklift Certified or subject to certification training.
- Tracks stock levels, forecasts parts needs, reconciles inventory counts, and minimizes obsolete or stagnant stock. of parts
- Generates purchase orders, coordinates OEM or aftermarket orders, and performs three-way matches between purchase orders, invoices, and packing slips.
- Negotiates pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers, and handles vendor returns, core exchanges, and credits.
- Works closely with all departments mill has the right parts quickly to minimize repair delays.
- Perform other duties directed by your Supervisor
- Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
