Reputable construction company with 20 years in the industry is seeking a hands-on, strategic, and highly motivated Marketing Manager to take ownership of all marketing efforts across several company websites and digital channels. This role requires someone who understands how all the marketing pieces fit together - and can both manage the strategy and execute key tasks directly when needed.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Sherman Oaks, CA. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies, managing digital marketing campaigns, analyzing market trends, and overseeing the company’s brand presence. He will be hands on different platforms and collaborate with external providers to great more leads for the company.
Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Lead Generation
• Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to increase qualified leads.
• Manage and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, Google Local Services (Google Guaranteed), Google My Business, and social platforms.
• Analyze performance data, identify what’s working and what isn’t, and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Conduct competitive research and stay current with digital marketing trends.
Website & SEO Management
• Oversee multiple WordPress websites; update content, pages, landing pages, and structure as needed.
• Manage outsourced web developers or content writers when appropriate, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Implement SEO best practices (on-page, technical basics, local SEO).
• Build and optimize landing pages focused on conversions and lead capture.
Content & Creative Oversight
• Guide the planning and creation of content across platforms (blogs, social posts, videos, email).
• Edit images and short videos as needed for web or social use.
• Use Adobe Creative Suite at a proficient level—hands-on for simple tasks, directing external resources for more complex work.
• Maintain brand consistency across all channels.
Campaign Execution
• Launch and manage paid digital campaigns.
• Track KPIs, measure ROI, and present performance reports.
• Coordinate with outside vendors, freelancers, and internal teams.
• Ensure smooth execution of marketing initiatives from concept to completion.
General Marketing Duties
• Oversee online reputation management, including reviews and local directory listings.
• Support company events, promotions, and announcements.
• Maintain marketing calendar and ensure timely execution.
Requirements
• 3–5 years of digital marketing experience (construction, real estate, home services preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of WordPress, SEO, Google Ads, Google My Business/Maps.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite, image editing, and basic video editing.
• Experience creating and optimizing landing pages.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content trends.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Highly self-driven, resourceful, and proactive.
