Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mortgage Loan Officer role based in San Pablo, CA. The Mortgage Loan Officer will guide borrowers through the end-to-end mortgage process, including initial consultation, loan application, prequalification, and closing. Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the Mortgage Industry and Mortgage Lending practices, including current loan products and regulatory requirements.
- Experience working as a Loan Officer or in a similar residential lending role, with a proven ability to manage a loan pipeline.
- Familiarity with Underwriting guidelines, documentation standards, and risk assessment to accurately structure and submit loan files.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and the ability to guide borrowers with professionalism and empathy.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with real estate professionals, builders, and other referral partners.
- Proficiency with loan origination systems and basic office software (e.g., LOS platforms, CRM tools, Microsoft Office or similar).
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to handle multiple files and deadlines.
- Relevant state licensing and registration, including NMLS registration, as required by applicable regulations.
