• Supportive Concepts for Families, Inc*, **an Affiliate of Apis Services, is seeking to hire ***Full Time & Part Time Direct Support Professionals- (Residential Specialist)*** to provide direct support to individuals within our Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. This position will assist individuals in our Residential IDD Program under the 6400 Regulatory Compliance.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid Driver's License (preferred)
• Some previous experience working directly with people with developmental disabilities
• Excellent communication skills, documentation accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Additional Requirements: **The candidate must pass a Criminal Record History Clearance, & FBI as well as possess a valid PA Driver's License. The candidate must pass a Physical & Drug Screening & possess the ability to attend and successfully complete all sponsored training.
  
  

Essential Elements Of The Position

• Assist with all daily activities within the CLA but not limited to meal preparation, shopping, leisure activities, and consumer outcomes.
• Assist with community home licensing annually and home activities as prescribed in operation regulations.
• Work with the Assistant Program Coordinator to ensure that all needs of the individuals are met according to the Individual Service Plan.
• Responsible for the safety and well-being of all the individuals residing in the home.
