Supportive Concepts for Families, Inc, an Affiliate of Apis Services, is seeking to hire Part -Time Residential Specialists to provide direct support to individuals within our Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. This position will assist individuals in our Residential IDD Program under the 6400 Regulatory Compliance.
Areas include Bridgeville, Carnegie, Castle Shannon, McCandless, Wexford and more!

Education & Experience Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Driver’s License
- Some previous experience working directly with people with developmental disabilities
- Excellent communication skills, documentation accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written, with proper use of grammar and vocabulary, is required.
Additional Requirements: The candidate must pass a Criminal Record History Clearance, & FBI as well as possess a valid PA Driver's License. The candidate must pass a Physical & Drug Screening & possess the ability to attend and successfully complete all sponsored training.
Essential Elements of the Position:
- Assist with all daily activities within the CLA but not limited to meal preparation, shopping, leisure activities, and consumer outcomes.
- Assist with community home licensing annually and home activities as prescribed in operation regulations.
- Work with the Assistant Program Coordinator to ensure that all needs of the individuals are met according to the Individual Service Plan.
- Responsible for the safety and well-being of all the individuals residing in the home.
