Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth office operations, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting administrative functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, office management experience, and excellent communication abilities. Bilingual skills are a plus, as well as experience with Home health or medical reception duties. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where organizational skills and attention to detail are highly valued. Willingness to work as a caregiver if needed is preferred. Full time is 09:00am to 05:00 pm with 30 mins break time Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors at the front desk with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately
- Schedule appointments and manage calendar coordination for staff and clients
- Perform data entry, filing, and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, Axxess EMR.
- Handle correspondence, proofread documents, and ensure accuracy in all communications
- Support office management tasks including supply ordering, record keeping, and document organization
- Provide excellent customer support via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Willing to work as an in-home care giver if needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception desk to promote a welcoming environment
- Support administrator/ manager by performing duties as needed, including calendar management and task prioritization.
- Willingness to learn required
Qualifications
- Proven office management or administrative experience with strong clerical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Experience with Paid caregiver/homemaker/home health aides preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently
- Bilingual abilities are a plus (but not required) for effective communication with diverse clients
- Attention to detail with proofreading and data entry accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly
- Familiarity with medical or home care receptionist duties is advantageous but not required
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional office or administrative training is preferred
- Must have current Driver's license with auto insurance
- Criminal background check required
- Willingness to work as an in-home caregiver or home health aide if needed preferred.

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
