We are a collaborative, mission-driven organization that values compassion, curiosity, and continuous learning. We are committed to building a team that reflects the communities we serve.
About the Role
This role serves as a close partner to the Executive Director, combining fundraising support, administrative leadership, and direct executive support in a small but growing development team. The Development Coordinator will play a hands-on role in advancing our fundraising efforts — from stewarding individual donors to coordinating our annual gala — while also ensuring the organization runs smoothly day to day. This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented, mission-driven professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is energized by working in close partnership with senior leadership on both the day-to-day and the big picture. We envision this role growing in scope and management responsibility over time as the organization grows and evolves.

· Lead execution of individual giving campaigns, including the annual year-end campaign — writing appeals, coordinating mailings, analyzing campaign performance and providing strategic recommendations, and ensuring accurate financial reconciliation.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records in Salesforce; produce regular fundraising reports and ensure data integrity across all fundraising activity.
· Support the Executive Director in moves management and donor communications.
Annual Gala & Events
· Serve as the primary coordinator for the annual fundraising gala, including auction procurement and management via OneCause, vendor coordination, volunteer and staff management, and day-of event logistics.
· Manage event timelines, budgets, and post-event reconciliation and reporting.
· Support the planning and execution of other organizational events as needed.
Board Relations & Administrative Support
· Provide administrative support for board meetings, including preparing agendas, materials, and minutes in coordination with the Executive Director, Board President, and Board Secretary.
· Maintain and organize board files and records, track action items, and support board member onboarding and communications.
· Assist with scheduling and logistics for board committees as needed.
Executive Support (~25% of Role)

· Anticipate the ED's needs and proactively manage logistics, correspondence, and follow-up.
· Support special projects including the organization's strategic planning process, coordinating stakeholder input, timelines, and documentation.
· Coordinate cross-agency projects and initiatives, serving as a liaison between the ED and internal and external partners.

· Demonstrated experience with Salesforce or a comparable donor CRM.

· A sense of humor and the ability to find joy in the work, even on hard days.
· High degree of discretion and professionalism — comfortable working closely with senior leadership and handling sensitive information.
· Event coordination experience, including managing logistics, vendors, and volunteers.
Preferred
· Experience supporting an executive or senior leader in an administrative or chief-of-staff capacity.
