- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Heartland POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend popular dishes, and upsell items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Manage guest inquiries professionally, addressing special requests or dietary restrictions with care and expertise.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling, serving, and bussing duties.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms.
- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas by bussing tables efficiently and supporting sanitation protocols.
- Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, creating an inviting atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
Skills
