Role Summary
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) works directly with clients to carry out ABA therapy programs under the guidance of a BCBA. You’ll be helping kids build skills, tracking progress, collecting data, and creating positive, engaging therapy experiences.
What You’ll Do
- Build rapport and engage with clients through play and interaction
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy sessions based on individualized goals
- Carry out behavior plans and skill-building programs developed by the BCBA
- Use a mix of structured teaching and natural/play-based learning
- Support growth in communication, social, play, and daily living skills
- Assist with hygiene or toileting routines
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment during all sessions
- Accurately collect and enter data throughout sessions
- Complete session notes and required documentation
- Collaborate with your team and communicate regularly with supervisors
