Primary Care Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or a Medical Assistant (MA) to join our primary care team. This position is available for 4–5 days per week, Monday through Thursday.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, and committed to providing exceptional patient care. Experience with prior authorizations and referral management is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate in specific clinical procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain and document vital signs
- Perform venipuncture and process laboratory specimens
- Manage and coordinate referrals and prior authorizations
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation
- Coordinate patient care with providers, staff, and community resources
- Assist with clinical procedures, including Pap smears, suturing, and biopsies (training provided as needed)
- Support daily clinic operations and ensure a positive patient experience
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, compassionate, professional, and courteous demeanor
- Experience in a primary care setting is a plus
Compensation:
Pay is competitive and will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
