Salary is between $90,000 - $130,000 per year (based on experience.)
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects in heavy/highway civil construction and structural engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Performing structural analysis and design, including reinforced and pre-stressed concrete design, steel design, timber design, deep foundations, earth retaining structures, crane pick plans/rigging, bridge deck, etc.
- Ensuring design compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Preparing engineering reports, memoranda, and design submittals.
- Generating working/draft construction drawings.
- Handling additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of structural engineering and design, bridge experience is essential.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution, with a minimum.A master's degree focused on structural engineering is preferred.
- PE license is mandatory.
- Proficiency in utilizing Structural finite element analysis software tools such as MIDAS or RISA.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel.
- Familiarity with critical industry codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC Steel Specification and Construction Manual, NDS, AREMA, AASHTO, and AWS.
- Commitment to continued professional development for PE License.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
