Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Ironworkers (Metal Building Erection) for immediate hire in Jefferson, WI.
Long-term work available, steady hours, overtime opportunities, and travel allowance!
- PAY: $25–$35/hr. (based on experience)
- HOURS: 8–10 hour days starting at 7:00 AM
- SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday; approximately 40–50 hours/week
- START DATE: ASAP
- DURATION: Long-term / Direct hire opportunity
Ironworker Job Description:
The Ironworker will be responsible for the safe erection, installation, and assembly of pre-engineered metal buildings and structural steel components. This role includes working at heights, operating equipment, welding, and reading blueprints while maintaining strict OSHA safety standards.
Qualifications for Ironworker:
- Minimum 1 year of steel building erection or structural steel experience
- Experience with pre-engineered metal buildings strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and erection drawings
- Experience with welding and steel connections (bolting, fastening, etc.)
- Forklift and/or man lift experience required
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Construction Certification required
- Must be comfortable working at heights
- Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE
- Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, climbing, crouching, working at heights, and lifting 50–75 lbs.
Additional Requirements for Ironworker:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have reliable transportation to job sites
- Must be open to travel within a 200-mile radius of Jefferson, WI
- Must provide basic ironworker tools
- Candidates may be subject to pre-employment drug screen and background check
