Our client is growing rapidly and looking for experienced a Carpentry Foreman and a Concrete Foreman to join our team in Madison, WI and surrounding areas. If you are a hands-on leader passionate about quality, safety, and team development, we want to hear from you!Position Overview:As a Foreman (Carpentry or Concrete), you will lead skilled crews of 3–10 workers on diverse commercial projects. You will be the go-to expert on-site, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This role combines technical expertise with strong leadership, mentoring, and coordination across trades.What You’ll Do:Lead and supervise your crew through daily tasks:Carpentry: framing, window/door installation, flooring, trim, and hardwareConcrete: pouring, forming, finishing, curing, and site preparationInterpret blueprints, drawings, and project specs accurately to plan and execute workTrain, mentor, and motivate team members to boost skills, productivity, and safety awarenessCoordinate closely with superintendents, project managers, and other trades to keep workflows smooth and deadlines metEnsure all tools, equipment, and materials are ready, maintained, and used properlyConduct daily safety meetings, perform regular site inspections, and enforce strict adherence to safety standardsInspect completed work for quality control and code complianceMaintain clear, accurate daily reports, timesheets, and project documentationDrive company vehicles when approved (valid driver’s license required)Perform additional duties as needed to contribute to project and team successWhat We’re Looking For:5–7 years of hands-on experience in carpentry or concrete work, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or foreman roleDeep knowledge of industry best practices, materials, tools, and construction safetyProficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents and blueprintsStrong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to stay calm and professional under pressure, with a commitment to quality and continuous improvementValid driver’s licenseOSHA 30, ACI Certification, First Aid/CPR certifications are a plus but not mandatoryOwn basic hand tools related to your tradeWilling and able to work 45 hours per weekWhat We Offer:Competitive pay based on experience ($36–$42/hr)Consistent Monday–Friday schedule with early start for better work-life balanceOpportunity to lead and grow within a respected construction companySupportive team environment focused on safety and professional developmentAccess to certifications and training to advance your careerHow to Apply:If you’re ready to take the next step in your construction career, send please apply to this ad and upload your resume - then text “Foreman” to 321-352-6470 for a fast response.We are an equal opportunity employer.Company DescriptionSuperior Skilled Trades is a national provider of skilled trades personnel.
