Superior Skilled Trades is recruiting an experienced Data Center Construction Project Manager on behalf of a confidential, fast-growing global AI infrastructure company building hyperscale data centers across the U.S. and internationally. This is a rare opportunity to lead some of the most advanced data center builds in the world.

Position Overview
Reporting to the Director of Data Center Construction, the Project Manager will own the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management of large-scale data center construction programs. You will act as the central hub connecting design, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure each project delivers on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This role has direct responsibility for schedule, cost, scope, and execution across multiple active builds.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage integrated project schedules (Primavera P6 / MS Project) from design through turnover
- Own project budgets, cash flow, change management, and earned-value reporting
- Lead phase-gate and 30/60/90% design reviews and track action items
- Manage contract lifecycles including RFPs, bid analysis, awards, change orders, and close-out
- Identify critical-path and long-lead risks (transformers, chillers, switchgear, etc.) and drive mitigation plans
- Serve as the single source of truth for project status, risks, and performance
- Provide leadership and direction to construction managers, project managers, and superintendents
- Build staffing plans, oversee performance, and develop high-performing project teams
- Lead project stand-ups, reviews, and post-project retrospectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 10 years of project management experience in hyperscale data centers, industrial construction, or large infrastructure projects
- Experience delivering fast-track, multi-site construction programs
- Strong understanding of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical scopes
- Advanced experience with scheduling, cost controls, and reporting tools (P6, MS Project, Procore, Excel, Smartsheet, etc.)
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing teams across regions and time zones
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification preferred
- Willingness to travel 50% to active job sites
