This role is essential in supporting electrical engineering teams by producing accurate, high-quality CAD assets that align with engineering requirements and internal standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, experienced with Cadence tools, and comfortable operating within a fast-paced engineering environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCAD Design & Library DevelopmentCreate schematic symbols and PCB footprints using tools such as Cadence Allegro and System CaptureBuild accurate footprints by interpreting datasheets, mechanical drawings, and application notesProduce schematic symbols to support electrical engineering developmentDeliver fully validated footprints and symbols to engineers on scheduleMaintain and support Mercury Systems’ librarian revision control systemDocumentation & Technical SupportEnsure all CAD assets meet internal standards and industry best practicesSupport the engineering community by troubleshooting library or CAD-related issuesManage part data, revision logs, and library updatesCollaborate with engineers across multiple time zones within the U.S. and internationallyCollaboration & Workflow SupportWork closely with electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and PCB layout teamsCommunicate effectively regarding library updates, part requests, and design changesEnsure CAD libraries remain accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with current engineering needsRequirementsBachelor's Degree in EngineeringExcellent math skillsStrong organizational and communication abilitiesFamiliarity with electronic component datasheetsAbility to read and understand mechanical drawingsExperience creating schematic symbols and PCB footprintsLibrary management experienceAbility to work in a fast-paced engineering environment supporting multiple time zonesMust be a U.S. CitizenPreferred QualificationsExperience with Cadence Allegro and System CaptureKnowledge of Cadence PulseExperience with AutoCADStrong communication and organizational skillsPrior work in high-speed engineering or electronics development environmentsWE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER!Hablamos Español — Llámenos para asistencia en español.Company DescriptionSuperior Skilled Trades is a national provider of skilled trades personnel.
