Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Manufacturing Repairs Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The manufacturing Repairs Technician will be responsible for visiting our customer’s businesses and residences to perform repair work on our quality sheds, buildings, carports and gazebos.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for completing general repairs of storage sheds, structures and buildings.
• The duties include repair building floors, framing, walls, siding, roofing, windows, doors and vents.
• Essential functions:
• Using a variety of hand and power tools
• Must use skills for carpentry, siding and roofing tasks
• Repair work on storages, sheds, structures and buildings.
• Focused on product quality.

· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while managing stress and keeping a professional composure.

· This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday-Thursday (As needed Fridays) from 6am to 4:30pm. This position requires long hours as needed to meet company production and client needs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience with portable building repairs including, but not limited to siding, roofs, windows, doors, etc.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of basic construction, including painting, leveling, roofing/re-roofing, window installations/replacement and 2x44 framing/re-work.
• Must be able to read a tape measurer.

· 24-foot bumper pull experience required

• Must be able to read a tape measurer.
• Knowledgeable in the use of hand and electrical tools.
• Safety- and Teamwork Oriented.
• Good Verbal communication skills and maintain a presentable and professional composure
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while managing stress and keeping a professional composure.
• Focused on product quality.
• Possess strong customer service skills, and maintain a presentable appearance
• Demonstrate high ethical standards and comply with all regulations and applicable laws
• Strong written communication to handle repair paperwork and records
• Current valid driver’s license and a clean Motor Vehicle Record

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
• The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
• This position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include heat, cold, humidity and exposure to dust.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• Must be able to lift heavy and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Pull, push or carry objects, climb and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
• This position requires good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to quickly move arms and legs.
• Must have excellent stamina.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
