Superior Ready Mix Concrete is seeking experienced, professional mechanics for its fulltime Diesel Tech position in Escondido. This job comes with an excellent benefit package, daily home time, and the ability to increase your wages with OT opportunities.
More About This Position

• Diagnose & repair diesel engines and related equipment, including: air systems, oil analysis, cooling system.
• Troubleshoot fuel system, including: diagnostic tests with manufacturer software.
• Test and rebuild various types of hydraulic equipment.
• Disassemble & assemble wheel loader axle.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting & diagnosing circuit faults.
• Remove & Install a Pressure Sensor on EUI Engine.
• Disassemble & assemble pumps & lines for the fuel system.
• Troubleshoot Tier 4 Systems, fuel system, electrical and mechanical problems.
• Test, repair and repair/replace Common Rail Fuel System Engine.
• Remove and Install a High Pressure Fuel Pump.
• Perform routine maintenance on diesel equipment, including: oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
• Inspect diesel equipment and related equipment for safety and compliance issues.
• Keep up-to-date on the latest diesel equipment technology.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations!

Job Requirements:
Education

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience working on diesel or heavy construction equipment is preferred
• Additional vocational/trade school training in a mechanical field is also preferred

Experience

• Able to perform all functions on Superior Ready Mix's equipment management software
• Previous experience working on diesel or heavy construction equipment is preferred
• Equipment knowledge on engines, hydraulics, electronics, Tier 4 Systems and fuel systems
• Previous experience with CAT SIS or ET programs highly desired
• Must be willing to work overtime and in various weather conditions

Wage Range: 30.00 - 35.00 per hour
