Micro Metals Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Accounting team. This position plays a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and financial records while supporting the overall efficiency of our accounting operations.

Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices accurately and timely
- Verify invoice information, coding, and approvals
- Enter invoices into the accounting system
- Maintain organized accounts payable files and records
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and account inquiries
- Assist with payment processing and check runs
- Reconcile vendor statements and identify outstanding items
- Support month-end closing activities as assigned
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information
- Follow company policies, accounting procedures, and internal controls
- Provide administrative support to the Accounting department as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of accounts payable, accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience preferred
- Strong computer skills required
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel preferred
- Ability to accurately process a high volume of transactions
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
- Professional communication and customer service skills
