Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Indianapolis, IN, for an Environmental Health Safety Coordinator. The role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety programs to ensure a safe working environment. Daily responsibilities include conducting workplace safety audits, managing regulatory compliance, providing employee training, and addressing environmental health concerns. Qualifications
- Knowledge and expertise in Environmental Health, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), and Health & Safety protocols
- Familiarity with Occupational Health and Workplace Safety standards and regulations
- Strong ability to analyze, identify, and implement safety and environmental improvements
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills for conducting training and collaborating with teams
- Regulatory compliance experience associated with local, state, and federal safety and environmental standards
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field
- Certifications such as OSHA, CSP, or other related credentials are a plus
