EHS Coordinator
Location: Crawfordsville, IN
Industry: Heavy Manufacturing
Compensation: $75-85k
A Fortune 100 steel manufacturer is looking for an EHS Coordinator to support environmental, health, and safety efforts in a heavy industrial setting. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to be active on the plant floor, work closely with operations leadership, improve safety processes, and help drive a strong safety culture.
What you’ll do
- Support daily plant safety and environmental efforts
- Help maintain EHS systems and regulatory compliance
- Assist with safety training and employee engagement
- Participate in audits, incident follow-up, and corrective actions
- Support workers’ compensation and industrial health programs
- Monitor contractor safety performance
- Help review and improve safety procedures
- Assist with plant security-related processes
What we’re looking for
- 2 years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial operations
- Experience with galvanizing safety
- Experience working around overhead cranes
- OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications
- Comfort working directly with plant teams in a hands-on environment
Preferred background
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong manufacturing safety experience
- Experience supporting safety programs in heavy industrial operations
- Familiarity with management systems and standard Microsoft Office tools
Compensation
$75,000-$85,000 OTE (base salary ROA & Profit Sharing bonuses)
