The Operations Manager, Mechanical Integrity is responsible for Mechanical Integrity (MI) projects oversight, personal ownership and responsibility for the quality of the customer experience, administrative functional support, project deliverables/delivery, and integrating SIS MI services into the overall portfolio of service capabilities. This manager will gain knowledge of our products and services to connect with clients, oversee reporting and administrative compliance, and support Business Deevelopment with market growth.
Duties
- Initiate large jobs and interface with customers at the beginning of and through projects to final delivery
- Participate in customer sales calls to support proposal activities and gather information to determine project scope
- Assist in BD initiatives to target key clients and specific opportunities
- Create and update proposals, as required, while tracking records of customer interaction and proposals
- Facilitate communication with the lead inspector and customer to review and explain inspection findings and recommended action items
- Process and review MI documentation for compliance and quality. Ensure project scope and product is in line with record keeping and management expectations.
- Assemble finished product for customer delivery
- Participate in all aspects of proposal preparation including the development and collection of standard materials, document editing, content review, printing, and final document assembly. Coordinate input from various departments, including, not limited to; operations (project management), finance and sales.
- Provide administrative support of company tickets, files, reporting, calls, expense reports, and processes
- Maintain employee communication, timekeeping, supplies, and information
- Support service vendor relationships with particular focus on controlling costs and improving levels of service
- Represent Superior Integrity at industry events including conferences, sponsorships, client presentations and seminars, client dinners and other events to increase SIS’s visibility in the market
- Identify key regional networking opportunities that MI teams can participate in to increase SIS’s branding efforts
