JOB SUMMARY
Project Manager responsible for the safe execution of multiple types of field surveys and/or inspections related to Outside Forces (Geohazards) performed primarily by contract resources.
Job Profile Summary
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously across ONEOK’s operating footprint, collaborating with various stakeholders across the ONEOK Enterprise. Project manager responsibilities include developing cost estimates, budgets, forecasting and tracking project expenses, managing 3rd party resources in various types of field data collection, survey, and inspection. Responsibilities extend to performing Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) and evaluating results to determine what preventive and mitigative measures (PMM) activities are required. Effectively communicates the results and plans to applicable stakeholders.Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Provide project management and strict oversight for the safe execution of field data collection, survey and inspection by contract, and/or in-house resources as necessary.
- Identify, track, manage, and resolve project issues to mitigate project risk. Knowledgeable of the federal and state regulations governing pipelines.
- Plans and coordinates pipeline integrity field work. Prepares job/project plans, RFS's and AFE's, budgets and forecasts, process invoices, tracks cost, procurement of materials, schedules project support personnel, conducts pre-job meetings and reviews, and schedules field activities.
- Manages the overall work plan and provides forecasts to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
- Review outside forces data to assess integrity threats and select the appropriate assessment method and schedule
- Communicate with all stakeholders regarding project development, permitting, and execution
- QA/QC inspection and survey data to ensure alignment with project requirements, data formatting, and deliverable standards, and submit to applicable Outside Forces and/or company databases
- Support project execution teams by ensuring accurate inspection, field data collection, and records maintenance
- Complete reviews and prepare documentation to meet regulatory RFIs (Request for Information) and may communicate directly with federal and state regulators
- Prepare for and participate in PHMSA and state regulatory inspections
Education- Bachelor's Degree, other related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job-related experience
Work Experience- Experience at this level is typically attained by 8 years’ work experience in Pipeline Integrity, operations, survey, inspection, and/or construction some if not all, of the following job -related areas:
- Experience in project management
- Experience in use and function of office equipment such as computers and applicable software
- Experience in developing, reading and interpreting Scope of Work (SOW), IFC drawings and workplans, spreadsheets, forecasting and tracking tools
- Experience in composing and preparing executive summaries and other materials including but not limited to bid packages, KPI's, and completion reports
- Technical knowledge in pipeline operations, construction, maintenance, survey, geographic information systems (GIS). Knowledge of federal codes and regulations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Ability to: establish and communicate safety expectations for various types of field activities.
