Plasma Table Operator

Superior Industries is looking for a meticulous, safety-first Plasma Table Operator to become a key part of our production crew. We want an individual dedicated to high-quality craftsmanship, open to continuous learning, and capable of managing CNC plasma and oxy-fuel cutting systems to fabricate steel parts from technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Print Analysis: Review and decode technical schematics, industrial blueprints, and nesting programs to establish precise cutting specs and dimensions.
• CNC Machining: Configure, program, and securely run automated plasma and oxy-fuel tables to process raw steel plates.
• Material Management: Utilize overhead cranes, forklifts, and rigging gear to move heavy steel stock onto the machinery and safely transport completed components.
• Workplace Safety: Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and environmental standards to ensure an accident-free shop floor.
• Cross-Functional Tasks: Maintain flexibility to assist with alternative manufacturing duties as directed by the supervisory team.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Qualifications

• Schematic Fluency: Demonstrated competence in deciphering complex fabrication prints and industrial layouts.
• Machinery Experience: Prior background running CNC cutting tables, plasma torches, heavy forklifts, or industrial cranes is strongly desired.
• Developmental Attitude: Receptive to peer mentoring, skill development, and performance feedback to optimize daily output.
• Productivity Focus: Capability to maintain high concentration and meet tight deadlines within a rigorous factory setting.
