Superior Forge & Steel Corporation is currently hiring a Finish Turn Operator for our operation in Lima, OH. The Finish Turn Operator is a member of our Machining Department responsible for operating a CNC lathe to machine our forged rolls.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate lathe and controller
- Inspect forging/roll; report any deviation from specification
- Machine forging/roll to specification
- Preventative maintenance on lathe
- Perform other department duties, as assigned
Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:
- Must be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs. occasionally throughout shift
- Exposed to seasonal temperature changes
- Manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and vibration
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous CNC or machining experience preferred but not required
- Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment and/or heavy machinery preferred
- Must be able to read/interpret blueprints
- Good math skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen
Classification: Hourly
