Job Summary: CNC Finish Turn Operator

The Finish Turn Operator is a member of our Machining Department responsible for operating a CNC lathe to machine our forged steel rolls. Based on experience, earn up to $30 per hour for a starting wage!! $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS (paid in increments throughout the first year of continued employment). AND the opportunity to earn even more money per hour with our Production Incentive Bonus Program!

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate lathe and controller
- Inspect forging/roll; report any deviation from specification
- Machine forging/roll to specification
- Preventative maintenance on lathe
- Perform other department duties, as assigned
Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:
- Must be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs. occasionally throughout shift
- Exposed to seasonal temperature changes
- Manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and vibration
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous CNC or machining experience required
- Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment and/or heavy machinery required
- Must be able to read/interpret blueprints
- Good math skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Must be able to pass criminal background check, drug screen and physical.
