Description:Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a statewide provider of commercial service and new construction, specializing in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and maintenance solutions. We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our team. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, providing responsive support, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of commercial construction terminology. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Key Responsibilities Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries via phone, email or external client portals Provide accurate information about products, work orders, and policiesResolve customer issues and complaints with professionalism and empathyDocument customer interactions and update account information as neededCollaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfactionIdentify opportunities to improve service processes and customer experienceRequirements:Proven experience in customer service or a related roleExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to detailAbility to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalismProficiency in using customer service software and MS Office SuiteType accurately and consistently at 40 words per minute (WPM)High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus
