What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Systems Junior Project Manager position at Superior Communication Services?
Security Systems Junior Project Manager
Are you a Lead Tech ready to take the next step, or a Project Manager who prefers staying connected to the field? Superior Communication Services is hiring a Security Systems Project Manager (or Junior Project Manager).
This role is meant for someone who wants to grow into project management without losing touch with the technical side of the work. If you’re coming from the field or already managing projects hands-on, we’re open to different backgrounds. We’re happy to provide management training if you bring solid experience and a willingness to learn.
You’ll support our Senior Project Managers and take an active role in day-to-day field operations, helping coordinate teams and keep commercial security projects moving smoothly by:
- Lead the Field: Support and guide security technicians in the field, helping them grow into strong Foremen and site leads.
- Run the Day to Day: Keep commercial security projects moving by tracking schedules, budgets, and on‑site progress.
- Own the Technical Side: Oversee Access Control and CCTV installs from rough‑in through programming, testing, and closeout.
- Be the Connector: Work directly with Senior PMs, GCs, and field teams to solve issues as they come up and keep jobs on track.
Who We’re Looking For
We hire people, not perfect resumes. Since this role supports Senior PMs and active jobsites, we’re looking for someone with solid, real‑world security systems experience who’s comfortable taking the lead.
