Superior Buick GMC is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultant to join our dynamic sales team. As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in helping customers find the perfect vehicle to meet their needs and lifestyle. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

Customer Engagement:

  • Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customers' preferences and requirements.
  • Showcase and demonstrate vehicles to highlight features and benefits.
  • Provide accurate product information and answer customer inquiries.

Sales Process:

  • Guide customers through the sales process, including test drives, trade-in evaluations, and financing options.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Negotiate pricing and finalize sales transactions in a transparent and ethical manner.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, financing options, and dealership promotions.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) tools to manage leads and customer interactions.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the dealership's sales, finance, and service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings and training sessions to stay informed about product updates and sales techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Basic understanding of automotive financing and leasing options.
  • Valid driver's license.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous automotive sales experience is a plus.
