Summary

The Controller at SuperGraphics is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, strengthening internal controls, and supporting strategic decision‑making across the organization. This role leads the accounting team, drives continuous process improvement, and partners closely with executive leadership to maintain the company’s financial health and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and efficient close processes
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
  • Coordinate the annual financial review and serve as the primary liaison with the external accounting firm

Accounting Operations

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger functions
  • Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and banking relationships
  • Oversee fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic reforecasts
  • Provide variance analysis and actionable financial insights to leadership
  • Support long‑term financial planning and scenario modeling

Strategic & Cross-Functional Support

  • Partner with the executive team to inform financial strategy and key business decisions
  • Provide financial analysis for new initiatives, capital investments, and cost‑saving opportunities
  • Drive improvements in systems, processes, and automation to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and profitability
  • Collaborate with Operations on inventory management to optimize efficiency and margins
  • Proactively analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings and performance improvement

Systems & Technology

  • Oversee accounting systems and ensure data integrity across platforms
  • Lead system upgrades, integrations, and automation initiatives
  • Ensure strong documentation, controls, and optimized workflows

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA or CMA strongly preferred
  • 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP and internal control frameworks
  • Experience with ERP and accounting systems
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Background in multi‑entity and/or multi‑state operations
  • Experience scaling accounting processes within a growing organization
