Position Summary
We’re looking for a dependable Machine Operator to join our production team on our weekend shift. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that requires attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to accurately read a measuring tape.
Schedule & Compensation
- Friday, Saturday & Sunday
- 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Work 36 hours, paid for 40
- Additional $3/hour shift premium on top of base wage
- Consistent full-time schedule with 4 days off each week
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently
- Measure materials accurately using a tape measure
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet standards
- Complete basic math calculations related to measurements and production
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Able to read and understand a standard measuring tape
- Comfortable with basic math (adding, subtracting, fractions, measurements)
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Previous manufacturing experience is an asset, but not required — we’re willing to train the right person
