Job Overview:

We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operators to join our growing manufacturing team on second shift! In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a variety of manufacturing machinery to produce high-quality products efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment and contribute to a fast-paced, innovative manufacturing environment.

Shift Schedule:

2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 2:45pm - 1:15am

*training may occur on 1st shift for the first 90 days

Rate:

$22.50 hr

Duties:

• Operate a wide range of machinery to make cored welding wire.
• Set up and operation of machines including tool changes, machine adjustments, quality checks, minor machine repairs, etc.
• Conduct routine inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure product quality meets specifications.
• Handle materials and finished products safely within the manufacturing floor using forklifts, hand tools, and overhead cranes
• Follow safety protocols diligently while working with fabrication tools, welding equipment, tooling setups, and assembly line processes.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently.
• Maintain accurate documentation of machine settings, production data, and quality control reports for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with running and set-up of production machines preferred
• Detail oriented and meticulous
• Mechanically inclined
• Experience with calibers, coilers, or measuring tools preferred
• Strong math skills in basic algebra
• Strong problem solving skills
• Self motivated & hard worker
• Good communicator and able to work with others well
• Ability to work independently and reliable
• Ability to stand for hours on production floor
