Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with appliances using schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical knowledge
- Perform repairs on various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers using hand tools and power tools
- Install new appliances accurately following manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Conduct routine maintenance to prevent future breakdowns and extend appliance lifespan
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain repairs, provide maintenance tips, and ensure a positive service experience
Requirements
- Proven experience in appliance repair or field service roles with a strong understanding of electrical work and mechanical systems
- Ability to read schematics for troubleshooting complex issues
- Skilled in equipment troubleshooting, refrigeration systems, and electrical diagnostics
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques for appliance repair and installation
- Experience with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), including servicing large appliances in residential or commercial settings
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing connections, and refrigeration components is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining safety standards and quality workmanship
