Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator to set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce precision parts in accordance with engineering drawings, quality standards, and production schedules. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
1st shift (Experienced Only)
2nd shift 3:00pm - 11:00p M -F plus 15% shift premium
3rd shift 11:00pm-7:15am S-Th plus 10% shift premium
Weekend shift following training period - 6am-6pm Sat/Sun & 1 week day 36 hours, paid 40 hours. plus 15% shift premium.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to manufacture precision components
- Load programs, adjust offsets, and make tool changes as required
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions
- Monitor machine operations to ensure part quality and dimensional accuracy
- Perform in-process inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Identify and troubleshoot machining issues; make adjustments to maintain tolerances
- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work area
- Meet production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Document production data, inspections, and any deviations
- Collaborate with engineers, quality, and supervisors to resolve issues and improve processes
Qualifications & Experience
- 3 years of hands-on CNC machining experience (mills and/or lathes)
- Strong knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Siemens, or similar)
- Proficient in blueprint reading and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience working with tight tolerances and high-precision parts
- Familiarity with a variety of materials (steel, aluminum, stainless, etc.)
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately
- Basic understanding of CNC programming edits at the machine (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or machining certification a plus

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Manufacturing shop environment
- Standing for extended periods; lifting up to 100 lbs with mechanical assistance as needed
- Exposure to machinery, noise, and metalworking fluids (PPE provided)
