Welder 1st Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Inspect and assess completed welds for quality and compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, performing minor repairs as needed.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist in the training of junior welders and apprentices as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a welding apprenticeship preferred.
• Proven experience as a welder, with a strong portfolio of work.
• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) is a plus.
• Familiarity with welding machinery and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environmental conditions.
