Job Summary
We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and energetic Youth Sports Instructors who enjoy working with children and want to make a positive impact through sports, movement, and play.
Our programs introduce children to a variety of sports and activities through Amazing Athletes Multi-Sport, Soccer Stars, and Karate Zoo classes. Coaches help children develop motor skills, confidence, teamwork, and healthy habits in a fun, structured environment.
Some experience working with children is preferred, but we provide training, curriculum, and support to help the right candidate succeed.
Schedule & Availability
We are currently hiring instructors with availability during:
- Weekday mornings
- Weekday afternoons
Coaching Schedule: Looking for a rewarding, flexible coaching gig? We provide a consistent weekly schedule based on our seasonal workload. To give our students the best experience, we keep the same coach at the same school for the entire season. While your location will change day-by-day (e.g., School A on Mondays, School B on Tuesdays), your weekly routine stays steady! Shifts are Monday through Friday and run 1–2 hours in the morning (9:00–11:30 AM) and/or 1–2 hours in the afternoon (3:00–5:00 PM). Schedules vary based on school and program locations. Consistent weekly availability is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead fun and engaging youth sports enrichment classes
- Teach age-appropriate movement skills, sports fundamentals, and teamwork
- Follow provided lesson plans and curriculum
- Create a positive, energetic, and safe class environment
- Work with children of different ages and abilities
- Set up and clean up equipment for each class
- Communicate professionally with school staff, parents, and team members
- Represent Amazing Athletes, Soccer Stars, and Karate Zoo with enthusiasm and professionalism
Requirements
Required:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Reliable transportation to travel between locations
- Energetic, dependable, and comfortable leading children
- Strong communication skills
- Must pass required background checks
Preferred:
- Experience working with children (coaching, teaching, daycare, camps, etc.)
- Background in sports, fitness, education, or child development
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
