Job Purpose |
The primary responsibility of the ECD Professor is to facilitate instruction to students through the integration of science, practice, and policy in early childhood studies. This is a part time, online teaching position. |

Education and experience required including training, registration, and licensure |
The successful candidate will: Ø Possess a master's degree in Early Childhood Education, or a related field including. - Child Development - Early Childhood Education - Human Development - Home Economics/Family and Consumer Studies (with a specialization in Child Development/Early Childhood Education) - Education Psychology (with a specialization in Child Development/Early Childhood Education) Ø Native Spanish speakers with English as a second language will be highly considered for this position. Ø Have a strong commitment to teaching excellence and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Ø Flexibility and a team-oriented work ethic. |

Description |

1. |
Design and delivery of instruction for day, evening, and weekend classes. |

2. |
Teaching assignments may be either at the University's DC, Virginia campus location, or online. |

3. |
Complete timely student assessments and grading submissions. |
|
4. |
Maintains adequate on-campus or appropriate site, location presence in accordance with policies and procedures. |
|
5. |
Provides timely communication with students, staff, and administrators of the College. |
|
6. |
Attend all Faculty meetings (some meetings may be virtual). |
