Due to a booming 60,000 sq foot facility expansion, Super Radiator Coils, a family-owned manufacturer in the Midlothian, VA area, is seeking a hard-working and mechanically minded people to join our production team. Equipment operator's set-up and run our metal forming equipment. These machines use high precision custom tooling for heat exchanger manufacturing. We operate in a fast-paced environment with frequent change overs.

Specific Responsibilities

• Experience with CNC, Fin Punch Press and/or Expander
• Operate metal working equipment to consistently and efficiently to produce quality parts
• Use blueprints and router information to set-up tooling and machines accurately
• Perform daily preventative maintenance tasks
• As an active team member in the area, participate in continuous improvement activities to improve safety, quality, productivity and tooling life
• Safely use electric, pneumatic, floor and hand tools
• ID and tag unsafe equipment

Qualifications

• Ability to work 2nd shift
• Proven mechanical aptitude
• Successful experience working with mechanical equipment
• Background in hands on troubleshooting with machinery
• Ability to use measuring devices (calipers, tape measures, etc.)
• Team player interested in improving the overall performance of the equipment and the team
• Experience with CNC, Fin Punch Press and/or Expander preferred
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and stoop and/or bend frequently
• Able to follow directions
• Able to interpret drawings, routers and special notes once trained
