What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Support Technician position at Super Radiator Coils?
Position Summary:
This position provides walk-up, desk-side, remote service technical support to employees at Super Radiator Coils Chaska Division and Remote Offices. IT Support Technicians are often involved in the procurement and installation of end-user technology, employee moves and relocations, printer, device installation, troubleshooting and network cable installation. Works in conjunction with Corporate IT to implement changes and enhancements to infrastructure.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages end-user requests, prioritizes work, and communicates with end-users regarding support efforts.
- Provides support for desktop technologies including end-user applications, operating systems, hardware, and peripherals.
- Completes limited administrative tasks for end user access requests, hardware and software requests.
- Images and configures new systems, repairs or restores damaged systems, coordinates, decommissions retired systems.
- Aids with meeting room and collaboration technologies when necessary.
- Manages an inventory of end user technology to support the needs of the business’ on-boarding and hardware failure needs.
- Monitors inventory levels and recommends replenishment and disposal when necessary.
