Machine Operator – 3rd Shift (Full-Time)

Super Brush LLC is a family-owned manufacturer in Springfield, MA producing precision foam swabs used in automotive, aerospace, electronics, manufacturing, and medical industries. Our products are Made in the USA and trusted by companies that require consistent, lint-free performance.
We are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our 3rd shift production team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong manufacturing background who can operate equipment, maintain quality standards, and work independently in a clean, organized environment.
Shift Schedule
- 3rd Shift: Monday – Friday
- Hours: 10:30 PM – 6:15 AM
- No rotating schedules
- Weekends off
- 36.25-hour work week
Compensation
- $17.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
- 15% shift differential for 3rd shift
What You’ll Do
- Operate multiple foam swab manufacturing machines
- Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments (including temperature settings)
- Perform pull tests and quality checks to ensure product meets specifications
- Maintain lot control and ensure accurate labeling of cartons
- Perform die cleaning and complete production documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards)
- Follow all clean room procedures and quality requirements
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience required
- Minimum 2 years of machine operation experience required
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
- Ability to interpret basic production and quality documentation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Preferred Skills
- Experience with measurement gauges
- Basic computer or data entry skills
- Experience working in clean room or regulated environments
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling
