Head Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Housekeeper to lead our Super 8 Weston housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all areas are impeccably cleaned and organized. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming environment for guests while overseeing daily operations of the housekeeping department.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules that meet the needs of the facility.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Train new staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
• Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain a seamless operation within the facility.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all cleaning practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within hospitality or industrial cleaning environments.
• Strong knowledge of custodial practices, floor care techniques, and cleaning products.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff and guests.
